Andre Lambe Beats Castaneda On Points
Boxer Andre Lambe has claimed the vacant American Boxing Organisation [ABO] regional welterweight eight-round title after a points victory over American Kendo Castaneda in Galveston, Texas, yesterday [June 14].
Undefeated Lambe improved his professional record to 13 successive wins after the judges scored the bout 78-74 in the Bermudian’s favour.
Lambe previously owned the ABO regional welterweight six-round title, which he vacated after stepping up to eight-round fights.
Castaneda [21-9] was ranked 87th in the United States welterweight division.
