Khano Smith’s Rhode Island were defeated 2-0 at home to Sacramento Republic in the United Soccer League Championship yesterday [June 21].
A former Bermuda captain, Smith made history in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
Rhode Island are at home to Portland Hearts of Pine in the USL Jägermeister Cup on Friday [June 27].
