Rick Wright’s Greenville Win In Cup
Rick Wright’s Greenville Triumph beat Miami FC 2-0 at home in the USL Jägermeister Cup yesterday [June 28].
Rodrigo Robles and Carlos Anguiano scored second-half goals for Greenville.
Miami FC play in the USL Championship, the league above Greenville.
A former Saltus Grammar School student, Wright made appearances for the Bermuda and United States national teams.
He was appointed head coach of Greenville at the start of last season, having served as assistant coach for several years.
Greenville are away to Westchester SC on Wednesday [July 2].
