Tyler Butterfield Competes At Unbound Gravel

Tyler Butterfield completed the Unbound Gravel 200 race in Emporia, Kansas, finishing 92nd overall with a time of 10 hours and 23 minutes. He placed 63rd in the Men’s Elite Pro Division.

New Zealander Cameron Jones of Scott-Shimano won the 202.4-mile race in 8 hours, 37 minutes, and 9 seconds. Jones broke away from Simon Pellaud of Tudor Pro Cycling in the final two miles, with Pellaud finishing 42 seconds behind for second place. Mads Würtz-Schmidt of PAS Racing and Torbjørn Røed competed for third place, with Røed ultimately securing the spot by outsprinting Würtz-Schmidt by two seconds.

Butterfield competed in the Unbound Gravel 200 one week after participating in the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race in Bermuda. He maintained an average pace of 19.5 miles per hour during the event.
