BPS Extend Sports Card Collection Deadline

The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is extending the opportunity for the island’s youth to finish collecting the 2024-2025 Legends & Superstars sports cards series until Friday, 8th August 2025.

A spokesperson said, “As many will recall, all 44 sports cards, featuring local athletes, have been available since May 2025. Proof of several completed sports cards collections, submitted to the BPS by the original deadline of 30th June 2025, are still valid.

“Those participants have already been contacted and are guaranteed a prize. But we know that there are still some young people who are extremely close to finishing their collections and only need a few more of the latest sports cards to do so.

“As a result, we are inviting any young person who already has a majority of the 2024-2025 Legends & Superstars sports cards, to attend Hamilton Police Station – Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm – to see if the remaining cards they need are still in stock.

“Youth that complete their collections by 5pm, 8th August, are still eligible to receive a prize. To qualify, please e-mail sportscards@bps.bm, with the following details.

  • Youth’s full name.
  • Guardian’s full name.
  • Youth’s age.
  • School.
  • Guardian’s contact number.
  • And a photo with your young person displaying all 44 cards.

“Entry is voluntary. As a reminder, those that receive a prize could be one of 10 randomly selected young people, with full card sets, invited to a Police Week 2025 luncheon including some of the featured local athletes!

“The success of this youth focused initiative, along with the prizes, would not be possible without the invaluable community partnership of the Hamilton Princess and Beach Club.
