BUE Completes First Electrical Safety Training
Bermuda Universal Electric [BUE], a division of the BAC Group, has recently completed its first NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Universal Electric [BUE], a division of the BAC Group, has completed its first NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training, delivering powerful, hands-on instruction to professionals from Bermuda’s top commercial, institutional, and industrial firms.
“Hosted at the Hamilton Princess, the intensive multi-day training brought together decision-makers and technicians to tackle one of the most overlooked risks in the workplace: electrical hazards. From arc flash prevention to lockout/tagout compliance, the program aligned with the globally recognized NFPA 70E standard, setting a new benchmark for electrical safety on the island.”
“This wasn’t just a seminar — it was a critical wake-up call,” said one participant.
“It was very informative. I walked away with practical steps I can use immediately.” Said another participant.
A seasoned electrician added, “I wish I had my entire team here. Every technician should experience this training.”
The spokesperson said, “The training is part of BUE’s larger mission to make electrical safety a business priority, not an afterthought.”
“Electrical safety isn’t optional — it’s operational,” said Ian Milne, General Manager of BUE. “We’re proud to be the only provider in Bermuda offering NFPA 70E-certified instruction, and we’re committed to helping companies raise the bar, reduce risk, and protect their people.”
The spokesperson said, “Each participant received a certificate and will be advised of post-training opportunities.”
