Convex End-to-End Awards $275K To Charities
The Convex End-to-End awarded $275,000 to local charities at its 2025 ceremony.
A spokesperson said, “The Convex End-to-End celebrated another record-breaking year, awarding $275,000 in grants to local charities at its annual awards ceremony held at the Hamilton Princess. Since the event’s inception in 1988, it has donated over $7 million to charities serving the Bermuda community.
“Five major grants of $50,000 each were awarded to:
- Age Concern
- Bermuda Audubon Society
- Bermuda Red Cross
- The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Bermuda
- The Reading Clinic
“An additional $15,000 for the Deloitte School Award was presented to Warwick Academy for raising the most funds during the 2025 event. Further donations were made to organisations that provide essential support on event day, including St. John’s Ambulance, Open Airways, Bermuda Red Cross, and the Horticultural Skills Programme.
“Amber’s Wings received the Anne Mello Award, which recognises a smaller charity providing exceptional community support. The $10,000 award was presented by Anne Mello herself, who retired as Chair in 2024 after three decades of service.”
Christen Styche, Chair of the Bermuda End-to-End Charitable Trust, said, “We’re proud to honour the legacy of this event and excited to carry it into its 39th year. These grants are a direct result of the commitment of our participants, volunteers, and sponsors. It’s a true community effort, and we are especially grateful to title sponsor Convex, and platinum sponsors Deloitte and Butterfield Group for their continued support.”
Paul Simons, CEO of Convex Bermuda, added, “The Convex End-to-End is a one-of-a-kind event that brings the Bermuda community together in a meaningful way. It’s been an honour for our team to support it again this year and to see first-hand how the funds positively impact local charities and, in turn, the lives of so many in our community.”

- Founder’s Trophy – Maureen Ryan for her dedication as a physiotherapist
- Volunteer of the Year – Deidre James
- Best Water Stop Award – Deloitte
- Team Spirit Award – Butterfield & Vallis
- Top Fundraising Team – FAC Powertranz
- Top Corporate Team – Bermuda Government
- Honourary End-to-Enders – Patrina O’Connell-Paynter & Ed Christopher
