Police: Double Murder Investigation Ongoing

The Bermuda Police Service’s Serious Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the 2024 double murder of Amon Robinson and Razi Garland.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Kenten Trott said, “Detectives of the Serious Crime Unit continue to investigate the double murder of Razi Garland and Amon Robinson, who were fatally shot in the Fort Scaur area, Sandys, at approximately 6:05am on Wednesday, 10th July, 2024.

“Razi was 18-years-old at the time of this tragic incident. Amon was 19-years-old.

“Both young men were deeply cherished – Razi, a former deputy head boy at The Berkeley Institute and scholarship recipient, and Amon, known for his volunteer work in Devonshire. Their futures were full of promise and their loss has left a lasting impact on those who knew them.

“Investigators are renewing their appeal for relevant information in relation to this matter. We are particularly keen to hear from area residents who may have seen any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area of Somerset Road and Sound View Road, Sandys prior to or after this crime was committed.

“Community involvement is still crucial to bringing the perpetrators of this crime to justice. All information received will be treated in the strictest confidence. Every detail could help bring justice and closure to the families and community.
