Khano Smith’s Rhode Island were defeated 3-0 away to Hartford Athletic in the United Soccer League Championship yesterday [August 23].
A former Bermuda captain, Smith made history in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
Rhode Island, who are ninth in the Eastern Conference, are at home to Charleston Battery on Saturday [August 30].
