Betschart & Smith Mills Compete In Jr Pan Ams
Bermudian athlete Nirobi Smith Mills secured a fifth-place finish in the men’s 800-meter final at the Junior Pan American Games, while golfer Oliver Betschart completed his second round of competition.
Smith Mills clocked a time of 1:50.00 in the final. The race was won by gold medalist Miguel Angel Pantojas, who recorded a time of 1:48.79.
On the golf course, Oliver Betschart is tied for 20th place heading into the final round of the men’s individual tournament. He shot a 6-over par 78 in his second round, following an opening round of 79, for a total score of 15-over par.
Betschart’s second round consisted of one birdie, twelve pars, five bogeys, and one double bogey.
