Ignite Promotes Laura Lyons To Deputy Director
Ignite Bermuda has announced the promotion of Laura Lyons to the role of Deputy Director.
A spokesperson said, “Ignite Bermuda today announced the promotion of Laura Lyons to Deputy Director. A founding team member since 2019, Lyons has helped shape Bermuda’s entrepreneurial landscape through mentorship, programme delivery, and ecosystem-building, contributions that now position her to play a central role in driving Ignite’s next phase of growth.
“Since joining as an Enablement Manager in 2019, Lyons has guided hundreds of entrepreneurs and community leaders through Ignite’s flagship accelerator programmes, helping to fuel innovation, create jobs, and strengthen Bermuda’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Her leadership, expertise, and commitment to fostering collaboration within the community have made a lasting impact on Ignite’s mission to create jobs and diversify Bermuda’s economy.
“In her new role, Lyons will support the Executive Director and Board in executing Ignite’s Strategic Plan, including scaling alumni and young adult engagement, expanding mentor networks, and strengthening partnerships to ensure Ignite’s long-term sustainability. She will continue to lead programme delivery and the development of new initiatives designed to address critical skills gaps within the community.”
