Photos: Sri Lankans Cricket Tournament
The Sri Lankan Association of Bermuda [SLAB] held their annual Sri Lankans’ Annual Six-A-Side Softball Cricket Tournament over the Cup Match holiday, with the attendees enjoying a full cricket match on a day of fun and camaraderie.

I am not opposed to them doing so, but that they themselves benefit on the island’s largest holiday is a bit concerning. And still trying to figure out where I land on this matter. And no, I am not anti-foreigner.
“they themselves benefit on the island’s largest holiday is a bit concerning”
Why shouldn’t the Sri Lankan Association of Bermuda have its own cricket match on Cup Match weekend? Bermudians have Cup Match parties and barbecues without going to Cup Match.
For some members of this community, the first day of Cup Match is their only day off for the weekend. This event was an opportunity for some quality socializing with their friends, family and loved ones.
Locals get over it please
