Raptors V2 Win BBA 3×3 Tournament
The Bermuda Basketball Association hosted a 3×3 event with five men’s teams competing, where Raptors V2 went undefeated to claim the championship title.
A spokesperson said, “Due to poor registration numbers, the BBA only held a Male Open category last night at the 3×3 event. There were 5 teams competing for the cash prize. Raptors V2 finished the round robin stage as the top seeded team, going undefeated [4-0].
“This was a result of Malachi Scott’s interior dominance at 6’8″ and Drake Kucharik’s ball handling and perimeter shooting. In the semi-final knockout round, the Raptors would defeat 4th seed Slam Drunk. The Silencers upset veteran team Hittas in their semi-final to meet Raptors in the Finals. The Raptors continued their inside dominance defeating the Silencers 10-7.”
