St. George’s Council Award Three Scholarships
The St. George’s Parish Council awarded scholarships to Izeyah Wainwright, Chari Ingham-Trott, and Amari Place.
A spokesperson said, “The St. George’s Parish Council [St. GPC] was delighted to assist in the furtherance of academic pursuits again this year. Three $5000 scholarships were awarded to three deserving candidates. These scholarships will be used to assist with their varied undergraduate studies.”
The St. GPC Chair, Cindy L. Weeks said that the scholarship panel was “deeply moved and impressed by the knowledge and confidence exhibited by the applicants and it wishes each recipient the very best as they commence their University studies in the coming days.”
