Two Arrested In Connection With Murders
Two suspects — aged 21 and 16 – have been arrested in connection with the murders of 23-year-old Natrae Eversley and 18-year-old Nakia Robinson, the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] can confirm that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murders of 23-year-old Natrae Eversley and 18-year-old Nakia Robinson as well as the attempted murder of a third individual.
“The suspects, a 21-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, were taken into police custody over the weekend.”
Acting Detective Superintendent, Jason Smith, of the Serious Crime Unit, thanked the public, who assisted police by providing information which led these arrests.
He said, “Since the release of the images of the suspects, we have received a significant number of calls from members of the public. Information gathered from discussions with persons who contacted us is enabling us to make steady progress with this investigation.
“Those arrested have not been charged with any offence and the investigation remains ongoing. We continue to appeal for anyone with information on the murders of Natrae Eversley, Nakai Robinson and the attempted murder of another person to urgently make contact with us.”
