Video: Camryn Lines First Bridgwater Season
Footballer Camryn Lines said she is raring to go for her first season with English side Bridgwater United Women.
The Bermuda women’s national team defender joined Bridgwater last month and will hope to part of the team that faces Moneyfields away in the opening game of the FA Women’s National League Division One South season tomorrow [August 17].
Lines, who has represented Bermuda at under-14, under-15, under-7, under-20 and senior levels, told the club’s social media: “I feel very prepared for the new season.
“There’s been a lot of fitness [work], and it’s been hot!
“The team has come together, it’s a big squad, and it feels like family.”
The 18-year-old, who will attend the University of Exeter, added: “With talent we have, the experience we have, we’re well set going into the game.
“It’s going to be a high-intensity game, and hopefully we will win.”
