Bermuda Karting Season Gets Underway

The Bermuda Karting Association kicked off its season with an action-packed day at Southside Raceway in St David’s.

In the TAG Seniors, Nathan DeCosta won the opening heat, but Ryan Burgess came back strong to take heats two and three.

The TAG Juniors saw Tanner Correia claim heat one before Alondro Albouy swept the next two, edging out Correia and Syah Pedro.

The LO206 Seniors delivered close racing between Jason North and David Barbosa. North won heats one and three, while Barbosa took heat two. Kenneth Harrison dominated the LO206 Masters, winning all three heats.

In the Shifter classes, Blake Horseman opened the KZ Shifter with a heat one victory, but Ryan Rebello captured heats two and three. In the KZ Masters, Jason DeCouto win the first two heats before Will Dunkley took the final heat to prevent a sweep.
