Cechini Earns Third At Hart Invitational Race
Bermuda’s Gabriella Cechini delivered a strong performance at the Jerry Hart Cross Country Invitational in East Windsor, New Jersey, setting a personal best and earning a podium finish.
Competing for Mercersburg Academy in the Girls Varsity 5K, Cechini ran 18 minutes, 10.9 seconds to place third overall in a competitive field.
Her result was among the highlights for Mercersburg Academy, whose boys’ and girls’ cross country teams both finished third in the team standings.
