Manders And Jones Win Doubles In Jamaica
Gavin Manders and Benjamin Jones claimed victory in the men’s doubles at the Jamaica International Pickleball Open in Kingston.
The Bermudian pair defeated Canadian Ernesto Fajardo and Jamaican Kobi Stiebel 11-4, 11-7 in the final at the Pickle & Chill at the weekend.
During the trip to Jamaica, Manders teamed up with Island Athletic Co to host a special High School Clinic at Pickle & Chill.
“From learning the fundamentals to competitive drills, these student-athletes brought amazing energy and talent to the courts,” read an Island Athletic Co social media post.
