Trio Warm Up For Wushu Championships
Athletes from the Bermuda Sanshou Association warmed up with a full training session today [September 2] in preparation for the World Wushu Championships in Brasilia, Brazil.
Representing the BSA at the event are Kaelin Cox, Krista Dyer and Ryah Symonds.
Cox [Taolu] and Symonds [Sanda] were due to weigh in today.
Cox is scheduled to compete tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday; while Dyer and Symonds are scheduled to get their Sanda campaigns underway tomorrow and/or Thursday.
BSA president Garon Wilkinson and coaches Dwayne Cox, Chaquita Simmons, Adriano Lourenco da Silva have travelled with the team.
