Liana De Medeiros Helps Toronto Place 6th
Bermudian runner Liana De Medeiros helped the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s cross country team secure a sixth-place finish at the Vigars & Slater Western Invitational in London, Ontario.
De Medeiros competed in the women’s 8km race, finishing 27th overall with a time of 31:22. Her placing counted among the team’s top five results, which all came within the top 50 finishers.
The Varsity Blues placed sixth out of 11 universities in the meet.
