Aaliyah Nolan Scores Hat-Trick For City
Footballer Aaliyah Nolan scored a hat-trick in Bradford City AFC Women’s 7-1 win at home to Alnwick Women in their opening game of the North East Regional Women’s League Premier at the weekend.
The striker announced her retirement from football because of a knee condition at the end of last season but will continue to be part of the City squad this term, the club have confirmed.
“Aaliyah Nolan will continue to play a part of the squad despite calling an end to her career at the end of last season,” read a Bradford City AFC Women’s social media tweet.
She was named the player of the match in recognition of her scoring exploits.
