Bowling: Blue Angels, Pinsplitters, Islanders Win
In an upset at Warwick Lanes, the fourth-placed Blue Angels defeated the league-leading Drifters 3-1 in the Second Spring Seniors Bowling League.
The second-placed New Comers had a bye this week, missing the opportunity to capitalize on the Drifters’ defeat. The New Comers remain in contention for the top spot.
The third-placed Pinsplitters secured a 3-1 victory against the seventh-placed Last Pins, reducing the gap to the league leaders. The win strengthened the Pinsplitters’ hold on a podium position.
In the final match of the night, the fifth-placed Star Lites lost 3-1 to the Islanders. The win allows the Islanders to continue moving up the table.
