Bridge Repair Rescheduled For October 13
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised that “previously scheduled bridge repair works on Palmetto Road in Pembroke, originally set to commence on 8 October 2025, will now take place on Monday, 13 October 2025.”
A Government spokesperson said, “To accommodate a concrete pour as part of the ongoing repair of the Glebe Road Bridge, a full road closure will be in effect starting at 9:30 a.m. on the revised date. The road is expected to reopen in the afternoon before the evening rush hour.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes via North Shore Road, Marsh Folly Road, and Bishop Spencer Road.”
