Emergency Road Closure For Crane Lift
The Ministry of Public Works & Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that “there will be an emergency temporary road closure on North Shore Road near Tynes Bay entrance to allow for a safe crane lift work to take place.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The emergency temporary road closure will commence from Barker’s Hill roundabout to Dock Hill roundabout and will commence on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025.
“Working hours will be from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
“Traffic control will be under the direction of Island Construction representatives, who will utilize barricades, signs, and cones.
“Motorists are advised to use the detour route via Palmetto Road to temporarily avoid this road closure.
“The Ministry of Public Works & Environment encourages the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
