MacFarlane, Newton & Betschart Win Junior Golf
Junior golfers Lewis MacFarlane, Arman Newton, and Darina Betschart won their respective age divisions at the ICS Tires Cobra Puma Junior Championship at the Ocean View Golf Course.
Boys 14-17 Division
Arman Newton converted his overnight lead to win the Boys 14-17 Division title. Newton recorded a final round of 3-over par 73. His final-round scorecard included 15 pars and three bogeys, resulting in a total tournament score of 5-over par.
Johnny Bart finished in second place, four strokes behind Newton. Ramsay Soutter finished in third place with a total of 20-over par for the championship.
Boys 11-13 Division
Lewis MacFarlane secured the Boys 11-13 title, building on his first-round lead. MacFarlane carded a final round of 4-over par 74, finishing the tournament with a total score of 11-over par.
Max Parry finished second with a total score of 29-over par, following a final round of 13-over par. Fletcher Logie finished third at 35-over par for the championship.
Girls Division
Darina Betschart, the sole competitor in the Girls Division, shot a final round of 8-over par. Betschart finished the two-day event with a total of 12-over par, claiming the division title.
