Sailors Earns Wins In Regatta In California
Team Bermuda finished the 2025 Global Team Race Regatta with nine victories, competing against top sailing clubs at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club in California.
The Bermuda team, consisting of Josh Greenslade, Sammy Dill, Alan Frith, and Ruth Mello-Cann, secured five wins in the First Round and an additional four wins in the Second Round.
The regatta featured 12 international teams, with competitors from countries including Australia, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden, Scotland, Italy, and England. The field also included clubs such as the New York Yacht Club, St. Francis Yacht Club, and host Newport Harbor Yacht Club.
