Road Closure For Glebe Bridge Repairs
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised of a “full road closure on Palmetto Road in Pembroke Parish at the Glebe Road Bridge on Wednesday, 8 October 2025.”
A Government spokesperson said, “This closure is necessary to facilitate a scheduled concrete pour as part of ongoing bridge repair works. The closure will begin at 9.30 a.m. and is expected to conclude before the evening rush hour on the same day.
“Motorists are urged to avoid the area and instead use alternative routes via North Shore Road, Marsh Folly Road, and Bishop Spencer Road.”
