‘Together For Janae’ Fundraiser Launched
The CedarBridge Academy Class of 2006 launched a campaign to help raise funds for the funeral expenses for the late Janae Minors and to help support her loved ones.
The fundraiser said, “On behalf of the CedarBridge Academy Graduating Class of 2006, it is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of one of our own. Our dear friend and classmate, Janae Minors, was tragically taken from us due to a senseless act of violence.
“Janae was a genuine soul, a vibrant light, and a true gem to everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Her infectious laugh and radiant smile could brighten even the darkest day. To know Janae was to love her. She had a special gift for making people feel seen and cherished—whether it was through a nickname she gave you or a unique greeting that only the two of you shared.
“A shining example of confidence and grace, Janae was the proud owner of The Beauty Monster Accessory Shop. Through her business, she poured her passion into helping others feel beautiful and empowered. Janae lived each day with gratitude and joy, and it is hard to think of a moment when she wasn’t smiling.
“This unimaginable loss leaves a deep void, especially for her two beloved sons, who were her pride, her joy, and her entire world. Janae also leaves behind her loving family and countless friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
“Her impact stretched far beyond her immediate circle—Janae touched the community and the entire island of Bermuda in ways that will never be forgotten.
“As her classmates and friends, the CedarBridge Academy Class of 2006 has come together to organize this GoFundMe in support of Janae’s family. All funds raised will go directly toward funeral expenses and to help her loved ones during this painful time.
