Bermuda Harness Pony Racing Results
The Driving Horse & Pony Club of Bermuda hosted a full schedule of harness racing on Friday, November 21. Drivers and ponies competed across twelve heats in various time bar categories, ranging from the 1:08/4 & slower class to the 1:04/0 & faster open division.
In the opening races of the evening, Somegoldsomewhere, driven by Teshi Zuill, took the victory in heat 1. Victoria’s Secret, driven by Candyce Martins, followed with a win in heat 2, and Inwood’s Realist, driven by Tahzii Flood, claimed the top spot in heat 3. The fourth heat saw Gold Legacy, driven by Marissa Stephens, cross the finish line first, while Huntinforgold, driven by Tahzii Flood, secured the win in heat 5. Red October, driven by Philip Correia, closed out the first half of the card with a victory in heat 6.
The action continued in the second half of the program with Double Time, driven by Candyce Martins, winning heat 7. Reel Desire, driven by Liam Stones, emerged as the winner in heat 8, and Gold Rush, driven by Philip Correia, took the honors in heat 9. Gold Legacy returned to the track to win heat 10, marking a successful night for the stable. Huntinforgold also claimed a second victory of the night in heat 11. The event concluded with Smart Machine, driven by Candyce Martins, winning heat 12.
