Clarien Launches Holiday GiveBack Campaign
Clarien Bank has launched its annual Holiday GiveBack Campaign, a community-driven initiative that supports Meals on Wheels, an essential local charity dedicated to feeding those in need across Bermuda.
A spokesperson said, “For 16 consecutive years, the Holiday GiveBack campaign has raised over $120,000 in support of Meals on Wheels. This has enabled the charity to not only continue delivering freshly prepared, nourishing meals for the elderly, sick, and disabled in our community but to also provide an all-important check-in that often brightens each recipients’ day.”
Jennifer Wild, Clarien Bank’s EVP, Chief Administrative Officer, said: “We’re excited to continue this long-standing tradition at Clarien as it’s one of the many opportunities we get to contribute to a positive change in our community and support a cherished and essential service that benefits so many people in Bermuda. Our continued partnership with Meals on Wheels reflects our commitment to the community in which we serve, by bringing warmth, care, and connection to those who need it most and providing sustenance beyond monetary means.”
How to Donate:
A spokesperson added, “Join us as we drive this year’s campaign forward with joy and generosity. There are three convenient ways for clients, employees, and the entire community to donate from today through Wednesday, December 31, 2025:
- “Give Online: Visit Clarien iBank and follow the straightforward steps to make a Bill Payment to the Holiday GiveBack account in favor of Meals on Wheels. This includes the following steps:
- Log in to Clarien iBank
- Select the Bill Payments
- Click on ‘One Time Payment’
- In the Biller drop down menu, select Holiday Giving Back
- Enter the Amount you wish to donate
- Click Submit
- Click Confirm
- “Quick Deposit: Stop by our Point House location on Front Street, Hamilton and use the Holiday GiveBack quick deposit envelopes.
- “Gibbons Charity Day: Participate in the special event on Wednesday, December 17, by donating $5 at Gibbons Company or The Gibbons Home Store, and receive 20% off your purchase of regularly priced items.
“Every contribution counts, no matter how much, and to further amplify your kindness, The Clarien Foundation will match all donations up to $10,000, ensuring Meals on Wheels can ‘keep the wheels moving’.”
Scott Johnson, President of Meals on Wheels, commented: “During the holiday season, some of our clients take a break from receiving meals from us to be with their families; however, after the holidays we do see a bit of an increase in client numbers. Over the years, it’s been heartwarming to experience the community’s willingness to support our efforts and the generosity from Clarien Banks’ Holiday GiveBack programme. We can’t thank you enough for your volunteerism and donations, which have been instrumental to our continued efforts to ensure that no one in our community goes without a meal or a reassuring visit.”
