IAPP Bermuda To Host Data Governance Webinar
The IAPP Bermuda KnowledgeNet Chapter will host a webinar on Wednesday, November 26, from 1.00pm to 2.00pm, where IAPP Certification Director Dr. Doug Forman will outline data governance certifications for those seeking IAPP accreditation.
A spokesperson said, “The IAPP Bermuda KnowledgeNet Chapter will host a webinar aimed at persons looking to obtain IAPP certifications on data governance next week Wednesday.
“The virtual event entitled New Year, New IAPP certification, will be hosted by the IAPP Bermuda KnowledgeNet Chapter from 1pm to 2pm on November 26. IAPP Certification Director, Doug Forman, Ph. D will outline the data governance certifications offered by IAPP.

“Dr. Forman’s presentation will give an overview of the operational designations offered by IAPP, the Certified Information Privacy Manager [CIPM] and the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional [AIGP].
“The CIPM designation is geared towards professionals who manage privacy programs within their organizations, particularly where a company’s personal information may need to follow the requirements of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation.
“The AIGP designation is geared towards professionals looking to understand and execute responsible AI governance by ensuring safety and trust in the development and deployment of AI systems.
“Dr. Forman will provide information on the cost and study materials for the CIPM and AIGP exams and the benefits of the IAPP membership.
