Lane & Sidewalk Closures On Middle Road
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the public of “upcoming lane and sidewalk closures on Middle Road in Smith’s Parish, between Kilderry Lane and Store Hill. These closures are necessary to facilitate trenching works by Invisible Trenching Ltd. on behalf of Link Bermuda.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The works are scheduled to take place from Monday, 24 November 2025, to Friday, 19 December 2025, between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
“During this time, temporary traffic lights and stop-and-go signs will be in place to manage traffic in both the eastbound and westbound directions.
“Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes via Hermitage Road, Barkers Hill, and Vesey Street. Eastbound motorists in particular are advised to use Hermitage Road to avoid congestion during working hours.
“Representatives from Invisible Trenching Ltd. will manage traffic control, and all road users are urged to exercise caution in the area. Please refer to the attached Road Traffic Notice for further details.”
