Miles Outerbridge Commits To Houston
Bermudian sprinter Miles Outerbridge has officially announced his commitment to the University of Houston.
He will continue his development under the guidance United States track and field legend Carl Lewis.
Outerbridge, who is in his final year at Montverde Academy in Florida, made his decision after a recruitment process that included a consideration of the University of Iowa.
The 17-year-old, who is ranked 148th nationally among the Scholar Champion Athlete national boys’ recruits, wrote on social media: “I am excited and proud to announce my commitment to the University of Houston!
“I am beyond grateful to all my coaches back home and at Montverde who have allowed me to reach this point in my track journey.
“Along with a huge thank you to all my family who have supported me throughout.”
Outerbridge is a product of the Bermuda Pacers Track Club.
