Khano Smith’s Team Defeated In Final
Khano Smith and Rhode Island’s United Soccer League Championship season came to an end in the Eastern Conference play-off finals yesterday [November 15].
Smith’s side were defeated 1-0 away to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
A former Bermuda national team captain, Smith impressed in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
Rhode Island are the second team in the USL Championship era to advance to a conference final in their first two campaigns.
