Khano Smith Leads Rhode Island Into Semis
Khano Smith has led Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference play-off semi-finals of the United Soccer League Championship.
Rhode Island defeated Charleston Battery 5-3 on penalties in the quarter-finals yesterday [November 2] after their away tie ended goalless after regulation time.
A former Bermuda national team captain, Smith impressed in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
They face North Carolina away in the semis this weekend.
