Results: Rugby Classic Opening Weekend
There were wins for Argentina Legends, Classic Canada and the Classic Springboks on the opening weekend of the World Rugby Classic at the North Field, National Sports Centre.
On Saturday, Argentina enjoyed a 12-0 win over Italian Classic, while Canada claimed a hard-fought 24-19 victory over the Classic Lions.
Meanwhile, on a rainy afternoon yesterday [November 2], the Springboks began their title defence with a convincing 44-3 win over the Classic Eagles.
Debutant Charles Mayeza scored three tries for the Springboks.
Tomorrow, Argentina face Canada at 7pm, and Italy take on the Eagles at 8.30pm.
