Quartet Compete In Ironman 70.3 Worlds
Four Bermudians competed in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Marbella, Spain.
Emily Nagel finished 148th overall in a time of 5hr 17min 24sec.
She was 28th in the female 30-34 age group division.
Her splits were 30:56, 3:07:15 and 1:32:28.
Louise Wells was the next Bermudian to cross the line, finishing 705th overall in 5:53:54.
Her splits were 42:27, 3:17:17 and 1:45:24.
She was 31st in the female 50-54 age group.
Becky Ronaldson finished 1,661st in 6:43:44. Her splits were 43:29, 3:54:05 and 1:54:26.
She secured 246th place in the female 40-44 age group.
Meanwhile, Sharon Hammond finished in 6:57:45, placing 1,838 overall.
She had splits of 42:09, 4:01:58, and 1:59:23, placing her 96th in the female 55-59 age group.
