Dandy Town And Eagles Reach Cup Finals
Somerset Eagles defeated Wolves 3-1 in the Shield semi-final at Somerset Cricket Club on Boxing Day.
Eagles found themselves trailing after 14 minutes when an own goal handed Wolves the lead
Rushaine Murphy levelled in the 33rd minute before adding a second in the 42nd minute to make it 2-1 to Eagles.
He completed his hat-trick ten minutes into the second half.
Meanwhile, in the Friendship Trophy semi-final at the same venue, Dandy Town beat Devonshire Cougars 3-0.
The deadlock was broken in the 51st minute through Danté Leverock.
David Jones doubled the advantage and Nizigh Spence added a late third.
The finals will be played onm New Year’s Day.
