Minister of Home Affairs Alexa Lightbourne recently visited with families in Devonshire North West, “sharing a little holiday cheer.”
Minister Lightbourne said, “I had the opportunity to visit families across Devonshire North West, sharing a little holiday cheer, delivering turkeys. Importantly, reconnecting with the people I proudly serve.
“I also recognise that this season is not easy for everyone. For many households, the weight of rising costs, busy schedules, and personal hardships can make the holidays feel more stressful than joyful. That reality deserves both acknowledgement and compassion.
“Even in challenging times, our traditions continue to hold us together, bringing comfort, identity, and a reminder that we are stronger when we look out for one another.
“That is the reason for the season: love, generosity, and the hope we renew when we choose community.
“Wishing every household in Devonshire North West peace, strength, and meaningful moments with loved ones throughout this holiday season.”
