Bowling: Under Dawgs, Odd Balls & Cubs Win
The Continental Bowling League title race saw a shift during Week 18 at Warwick Bowl as second-placed Under Dawgs capitalized on a reduced schedule for league leaders Nifty Rollers.
A scheduled matchup between the Nifty Rollers and seventh-placed Invaders was postponed, leaving an opportunity for the Under Dawgs to close the gap at the top. The Dawgs defeated fourth-placed Astronauts 22-5, applying pressure on the Rollers as the 2025/26 season approaches its final stages.
In the fight for the top three, Odd Balls maintained third place with an 18-9 win over eighth-placed New Hope.
Fifth-placed Cubs continued their rise with a 23-4 victory against ninth-placed Sunset, leaving Sunset at the bottom of the standings. Sixth-placed Spicenix had a scheduled bye week, leaving the mid-table positions closely contested.
