Hamilton Re Appoints Susan Steinhoff As CUO
Hamilton Insurance Group, Ltd. announced today the appointment of Susan Steinhoff as Chief Underwriting Officer at Hamilton Re, the Company’s Bermuda-based insurance and reinsurance underwriting platform.
A spokesperson said, “Steinhoff brings over 25 years of insurance industry experience, having held senior roles at ACE [now Chubb] and joining Hamilton in its early days in 2014.
“In her new role, which is effective from January 1, 2026, Steinhoff will lead underwriting activities across Hamilton Re and report to Adrian Daws, Chief Executive Officer at Hamilton Re. She succeeds Tim Duffin who became Group Chief Underwriting Officer on January 1, 2026. With Steinhoff’s leadership, Hamilton will continue to strengthen its underwriting capabilities and deliver exceptional value to its clients and partners.”
