Harvey Breaks Bermuda 50m Butterfly Record
Bermudian swimmer Emma Harvey set a new national record at the 2026 USA Pro Swim Series in Austin, Texas, finishing the Women’s 50m butterfly in 26.59 seconds. The time surpassed her previous Bermudian record of 26.70 seconds, set at the 2025 Ascot Bermuda National Championships.
Competing in 15 races over four days, Harvey reached the A finals in five of her six events. She also recorded top finishes in the 50m Backstroke [28.70], 50m Freestyle [26.85], 100m Butterfly [1:01.23], and secured a top-eight finish in the 100m Backstroke.
