Pickleball Winter League Underway
The Pickleball Association of Bermuda’s Commercial Winter League is under way, bringing organised men’s, women’s and mixed doubles competition to the island through early March.
The league, which began on January 13 and runs through March 10, features teams of beginners, immediate and advanced players on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm.
All matches are being played at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
Pickleball, a paddle sport that blends elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis, has grown rapidly in Bermuda in recent years, with participation expanding across multiple age groups.
