Sean Trott said he is encouraged by his performances in the Chubb Half Bermuda Triangle Challenge after competing across three elite races last weekend.

Trott, the reigning Bermuda Half-Marathon Derby champion, finished fifteenth in the Butterfield Mile in 4min 48sec.

He placed seventh in the Allshores 10K in a personal-best 33:36.68, and ninth in the PwC Bermuda Half-Marathon in 1:17:23.32.

“The dust has now settled on the 2025 Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge, and as I look back on the weekend, I have many fond memories and takeaways for the rest of the season,” Trott said.

Competing as an invited elite athlete, Trott said he was satisfied with his consistency across the three events.

He returned to the mile for the first time in six years, finishing three seconds shy of his personal best, while his 10K result marked a fourth consecutive year of improvement in that race.

Trott said he was pleased to secure a top-ten finish in the half-marathon after the demands of the earlier races.

“I’m grateful to be able to continue doing this at a high level,” Trott added.

“At the end of the day, I love this sport, and no matter how I place, it’s that love that keeps me coming back for more.”
