Bermudian all-rounder Katherine Bean-Rosario has been selected to represent the Leeward Islands in both the CG United Women’s Super50 Cup and the Cricket West Indies [CWI] T20 Blaze.

The 2026 editions of the regional tournaments will be held in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The competitions provide a key platform for women’s cricket in the West Indies ahead of this summer’s tri-nation series and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The T20 Blaze begins this week, featuring six territories: Barbados, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, host nation the Windward Islands, and defending champions Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago. Matches will be staged at the Arnos Vale Ground, following a round-robin format with triple-headers at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and evening games under lights at 7:00 p.m. Finals day is scheduled for Friday, January 23.

The Super50 tournament starts January 27, with games held at Sion Hill, Park Hill, and Cumberland. Each team will play three matches, with the champion determined by the team topping the table after the final round on January 31. Trinidad & Tobago are the defending 50-over champions.

The Leeward Islands squad includes: Amanda Edwards [captain], Kimberly Anthony, Katherine Bean-Rosario, Reniece Boyce, Kayzg Boyles, Jahzara Claxton, Shawnisha Hector, Qiana Joseph, Rozel Liburd, Tonya Martin, Davronique Maynard, Chey-Anne Moses, Jess St. John, and Aaliyah Weekes.
