Police Renew Witness Appeal After Collision

The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is renewing the appeal for witnesses to a collision involving a police vehicle and a motorcycle that occurred around 12:30pm on Thursday [Jan 15] at the junction of Dundonald Street and Court Street, in the City of Hamilton.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check, the injured male motorcyclist remained hospitalised.

“There were no other injuries reported.

“As part of this investigation, CCTV footage has been reviewed.

“Any witnesses are now encouraged to contact Inspector Derrick Golding, by calling 717-2351, or e-mailing dgolding@bps.bm, at the earliest opportunity.

“Alternatively, any relevant information regarding this collision can be submitted via the BPS online community reporting portal, https://portal.police.bm.”

    In better news, the police and RBR presence on the roads on Sunday meant that the majority of drivers and riders obeyed the suggestions of the road for a change.

    I may be only one of the year, but it is better than nothing.
