Truck Breakdown Disrupts Somerset Road Traffic
Police are advising motorists to expect minor delays after a tractor trailer broke down on Somerset Road near Somerset Bridge, prompting officers to implement a single-lane traffic system while repairs are carried out.
A police spokesperson said, “A large tractor trailer has broken down on Somerset Road, just west of Somerset Bridge, near the entrance to the railway trail. The vehicle was being escorted by police when it experienced mechanical issues.
“Police are currently managing traffic with a single lane system while mechanics work on site to resolve the problem.
“Motorists can expect minor delays and are advised to proceed with caution when traveling through the area.”
