Abacus Appoints Susan Pateras & Coral Wells
Abacus has announced the appointment of Susan Pateras as Board Chair and Coral Wells as a Board Member to its Board of Directors.

The spokesperson said, “Pateras is a seasoned insurance executive with more than 25 years of experience in reinsurance underwriting and the healthcare sector. A former Chief Operating Officer and current Non-Executive Director for a diverse portfolio of financial service companies, she brings a wealth of experience in risk management, governance and strategic execution. Pateras is known for building high-performing teams, advancing innovative operating models and cultivating trusted partnerships.
“Wells is a leader in the local technology field, an entrepreneur and non-Executive Director with more than 20 years of experience delivering digital transformation across government, financial services and the non-profit sector. As the founder of Bermuda’s first coding and digital literacy hub, ConnecTech, she is known for pairing practical innovation with strong governance and strategy. She is also passionate about mentoring and developing future innovators.”
