Bishop Dill To Lead Discipleship 2026 Series
Bishop Nicholas Dill will be the leading speaker for the Anglican Parish of St. George’s Wednesday evening series, Discipleship 2026 – Being a Faith-Filled Disciple of Jesus Christ in an Age of Distraction.
A spokesperson said, “The Right Rev. Nicholas Dill, Bishop of Bermuda, will be the leading speaker for a Wednesday evening speakers’ series to be hosted by the Anglican Parish of St. George: “Discipleship 2026 – Being a faith-filled disciple of Jesus Christ in an age of distraction” at St. Peter’s – Their Majesties Chappell, on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. during the Season of Lent.
“This Series is designed to explore how leaders of different Christian traditions approach their faith and vocation as Christ-followers on a daily in basis.
“It is also hoped each speaker will offer suggestions on how other believers might take steps to live holy and life-giving lives themselves, especially during times of unrelenting distraction and upheaval.
“The planned line-up of speakers for these Wednesday evening sessions is as follows:
- February 18th – The Right Reverend Nicholas Dill, Bishop of Bermuda & Dean of the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity
- February 25th – Lieutenant Almeta Ward, Corp Officer St. George’s Salvation Army
- March 4th – Rev. Dr. Henry Armstrong, Rhema Ministries – Church of God, Wellington, St, George’s
- March 11th – Rev. Cyril Simmons, Pastor, Ebenezer Methodist Church, St. George’s
- March 18th – Rev. Dr. Lorne Bean, Lead Pastor, Richard Allan African Methodist Episcopal [AME] Church, St. George’s
- March 25th – The Venerable John Stow, Priest & Rector, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Smith’s Parish – Archdeacon of Bermuda
“All sessions begin at 7:00 p.m., are expected to run approximately 90 minutes, are open to all who wish to attend.”
